After gathering in the park near Mostarska petlja, the column moved towards the JZO building. The protest “We are all Nikolina” was called by students of Belgrade’s higher education institutions in the blockade.

The gathered people are carrying banners “Who protects us from the police”, “Violence against women is a crime of the state”, “I don’t want pepper spray I want the police and the law to protect me” and those against the commander of the Unit for the Security of Certain Persons and Facilities (JZO), Marko Kričak, whom the student Nikolina Sinđelić claims beat her and threatened to rape her during her detention after the protest in Belgrade.

The citizens gathered in front of the government allowed an ambulance to pass.

According to the Danas reporter, 16 minutes of silence are currently being held in front of the government building for the victims in Novi Sad.

One of the gathered, in a speech in front of the government, thanked Nikolina for her fight and courage and all the comrades who have gone through violence.

“Besides fighting for our rights every day, we are also fighting against violence against women, rape, and the spread of pornography. The regime has decided to use violence against women as a weapon against demonstrators and our struggle. We know that you know that you are doing everything illegally, that torture is forbidden. It will not pass!!” the speaker said.

The chant is “arrest Vučić.”

Srđan Milivojević told the members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to hand over Kričak to them, after which the gathered people started chanting “We want Kričak.”

“Marko Kričak is freedom for the Serbian police,” said Milivojević.

Radovanović again called on the members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to withdraw because Kričak humiliates women, and now they are defending him.

“Resignations then prison,” the gathered people are chanting.

The JZO is guarded exclusively by female police officers; there are no men, according to the Danas reporter.

According to the Danas reporter, the police are guarding the entrance to the JZO, where the gathered people have also arrived.

The MP Slavica Radovanović addressed the members, primarily the police members, with the words that they should protect women from sexual harassment.

“Say: We are all Nikolina,” Radovanović told them.

At the beginning of the column, there is a banner with the inscription “We are all Nikolina, we are not afraid,” as well as drummers, according to the Danas reporter.

The gathered people are chanting “arrest Kričak,” “We are all Nikolina, we are not afraid.”

Among the gathered are the president of the DS, Srđan Milivojević, and the professor of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Aleksandra Krstić. Sarajevska Street and Višegradska are blocked.

In a post on Instagram, they stated that their demands are the dismissal of Marko Kričak from the position of commander of the Unit for the Protection of Certain Facilities and Persons (JZO) and the urgent prosecution and sanctioning for the abuse and torture of detained persons.

As the Belgrade assemblies announced earlier, after the gathering in the park near Mostar, a walk to the JZO building in Sarajevska Street will follow.

The student Nikolina Sinđelić, who accused the commander of the Unit for the Security of Special Persons and Facilities, Marko Kričak, of physical and sexual abuse during her detention after the protest on Thursday in Belgrade, previously stated for Danas that she will file a criminal complaint against him and other members of the JZO, as well as against the former secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Dijana Hrkalović, due to revenge pornography.
