The Oil Industry of Serbia has managed to obtain another postponement of US sanctions, official confirmation arrived on Saturday, and the company received a special license that allows it to operate smoothly.
The long-term solution is to remove NIS from the list of US sanctions, but that is not so simple. Officials are hopeful that a solution for that company will be found, given that diplomatic relations between Serbia and the USA have been improving since Donald Trump became president.

This is supported by the fact that the American leader published the name of the new US ambassador to Serbia on the social network Truth. It is the Republican politician and lawyer of Serbian origin, Mark Brnović.
Trump is, of course, an unavoidable topic in recent months, and his moves regarding Ukraine are further worrying the European Union. His administration’s attempt to push EU interests out of Ukraine could further worsen relations between the US and the EU.
