Two Serbs were stabbed in Croatia, after which a man (32) was arrested, the Croatian police announced. He is charged with committing two criminal acts of attempted murder after attacking two citizens of Serbia with a knife in Fažana, Istria.
As reported by the police, the bloody attack occurred the day before yesterday, April 11, around 5:00 PM in a catering facility on St. Cosmas and Damian Square, where the suspect, after a brief conflict, attacked a Serbian citizen (34) whom he had known from before with a knife.
After that, he left the scene, but in Brionska Street, just a few minutes later, he attacked another acquaintance, a citizen of Serbia (47).
-The injured men were transported to the Pula hospital, where they were detained for treatment due to serious physical injuries and where doctors are fighting for their lives – the Croatian police announced.
The motive for the attempted murder of the two Serbs is not yet known, and the police are investigating whether the victims are connected and what exactly lies behind the horror.
Otherwise, shortly after the report of the wounding, the police found and arrested the suspect.
Upon completion of the investigation, the 32-year-old was handed over to the detention unit of the Istria Police Administration along with a criminal report.
