The daughter whose father Nenad M. (44) shot her in the head, killing her mother in the process, and then committed suicide, despite the doctors’ fight to save her, succumbed to her injuries in a hospital in Austria, reports Heute.
The number of victims of the horrific crime in Vienna has increased because, as the media in Austria report, the 24-year-old girl, the killer’s daughter, also succumbed to her injuries in the General Hospital in Vienna. As Heute reports, she died on Thursday evening.
As a reminder, a 44-year-old man Nenad M., originally from Serbia, shot his wife Zlatica and daughter in the head on Tuesday evening. Then he fled the scene in his “Mercedes”, and then committed suicide in the car.
During his escape, he also shot at the police who tried to catch and overpower him.
The boyfriend of the deceased girl was also wounded in the shooting, and he was also taken to the hospital for treatment, but his condition is stable.
The minor children were also present at the crime, but luckily they were not injured.

“The boy was sitting on the couch”
The crime took place on Tuesday evening around 7:30 p.m. A neighbor of this family described the dramatic moments of that evening to Heute. Oliver (33) was returning from shopping when he heard “banging”. At first he didn’t pay attention to it, but when he heard the man’s cries for help, Oliver immediately raised the alarm.
As he says, he saw a lot of blood in the apartment of the Serbian family.
“I have never experienced something like this and I never thought I would. My first goal was to get the 3 or 4-year-old boy who was sitting on the couch out of the apartment,” said the Viennese, adding that the two women were lying on the floor in pools of blood.
The frightened family dog was still whining on the stairs; together with the dog, Oliver took the boy to a neighbor. After that, he led the heavily armed police officers who were waiting outside the door to the stairs.
“I couldn’t sleep all night, I’m still shaking. You don’t think about it, you come back from shopping and suddenly you’re standing in such a bloodbath,” he described.
