In an accident that occurred this morning at 4:45 AM in the village of Donji Adrovac near Aleksinac, a nineteen-year-old girl died, and three young people were injured.
The Police Directorate in Niš announced that the death of the girl and the injuries to the driver and two other passengers occurred when an “Opel” car, with Aleksinac license plates, ran off the road and hit a concrete pillar.
The driver of the “Opel” (23) and a passenger (23) were treated at the General Hospital in Aleksinac, while one female passenger (19) was transferred for treatment to the Emergency Center of the University Clinical Center in Niš.
The police conducted an investigation, and the competent prosecutor’s office was informed about the accident.
The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
Traffic on the road leading through Donji Adrovac was suspended during the morning and forenoon due to the accident and the investigation.
