A young man (19) originally from Kosovo and Metohija was killed in a serious traffic accident in Lower Austria after colliding with a truck driven by a 63-year-old Serb.
The severe traffic accident occurred on Saturday morning, on the B129 federal road, in the direction of Eferding. At 6:46 in the morning, a frontal collision occurred between two vehicles – a passenger car driven by the 19-year-old young man originally from Kosovo and Metohija and a truck behind the wheel of which was a 63-year-old Serb, residing in Lower Austria.
Due to the force of the impact, the car driver remained trapped in the vehicle, which is why the fire department had to be called to the scene. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene, local media in Austria report.
The truck driver was immediately breathalyzed, and it was determined that he had no presence of alcohol in his system.
