In the Belgrade neighborhood of Borca early this morning, around 5 AM, a new bomb attack occurred when a currently unknown perpetrator threw an explosive device, most likely a “kasikara” hand grenade, at a local bakery.

This is already the third attack on the same facility in a period shorter than a month, which has brought serious unrest among the residents of this part of the city. By sheer luck, at the moment of the explosion, no one was nearby, so there are no injured persons, but considerable material damage was caused to the facility.

Security cameras from the facility and surrounding buildings captured the moment of the attack.

The video clearly shows a younger man, dressed completely in black, approaching the facility, activating the bomb, throwing it in the direction of the bakery, and fleeing the scene at lightning speed in an unknown direction.

Immediately after the detonation, which woke up and disturbed the residents of Borca, strong police forces arrived at the scene, as well as the prosecutor on duty.

A detailed investigation was conducted, recordings from all surveillance cameras in the surrounding area were retrieved, and the police are intensively searching for the attacker and working on determining the motive for these frequent attacks that seriously endanger the safety of citizens.
