“The Andy and Novak era has begun,” fans are saying on Australian Open social media.

Novak Djokovic completed his first training sessions in Melbourne on Monday, but it was the training attended by Novak’s coach, Andy Murray, that captured much more attention.

Finally, the duo has united and begun preparations for the first Grand Slam of the season.

Murray wasn’t in Novak’s “box” in Brisbane, but the Serbian ace then announced that Murray would arrive in Melbourne straight from skiing.

This will be the first tournament where Murray will be with Djokovic since the old friends formalized their collaboration.

The Australian Open begins on January 12th, and Novak will be trying to win his 11th title in Melbourne on the courts where he also won his first Grand Slam. It would be his 25th Grand Slam for the Serb and his 100th career title.
