On November 23, 2025, in the evening hours, the Čačak Emergency Medical Service received a call via an automated voice system on the number 194 in English, the content of which was not very technically clear and lacked an exact location where the EMS team could immediately act and go out to the field, the Čačak Health Center announced.

“As is known in the official rulebook on the work of the EMS throughout the territory of Serbia, for the dispatcher in the EMS station to receive a priority 1 emergency call, it is necessary to know the exact location where the patient is. When the car with the bodies was found by the police and fire-rescue teams and when we received the location, our team went out to the field immediately,” the statement said.

To recall, Ana Radović (20) and Aleksandar Masalušić (37) died in a severe traffic accident when the “Audi” car driven by the man drove off the road and fell into a culvert, right next to the main road.

Ana’s disappearance was reported by her family three days before the car was found. Also, firefighters and police searched the area around Međuvršje Lake the day before the “Audi” was found, in the immediate vicinity of the place where they drove off the road. How it is possible that they did not see them remains a question that the authorities should answer. The car was found by locals who notified the police.

Upon arriving at the scene, it was determined that the bodies of the two young people were in the car. Doctors could only confirm death.
