We watched a calm first half, neither side took too many risks.
However, we saw two incredible chances, one for each side.
First, in the 28th minute, Okofor missed an unbelievable chance. Fernandez crossed from the right, Okofor met the ball and, from three meters, hit the crossbar with his body.
Vlahović returned the favor in the 41st minute. He won a duel in the middle of the field against Amenda, after which Serbia had a two-on-one situation.
He found himself alone in front of Kobel and could have asked him where to put the ball, but he hit it poorly and all he got was a corner for Serbia.
Much more action in the second half.
First, in the 50th minute, after a dirty move by Embolo, there was almost a general brawl on the field.
Just four minutes later, a penalty for Serbia.
Mitrović was fouled in the hosts’ penalty area. Referee Turpan had no doubt. Mitrović took responsibility, shot down the middle of the goal, but goalkeeper Kobel saved with his legs and a great chance was missed.
Switzerland had a great chance in the 58th minute. After an action on the right side, the ball goes to Okafor who shoots powerfully but Petrović saves magnificently.
Then they played openly on both sides, there were chances on both sides.
Switzerland took the lead in the 79th minute. The ball reaches Amduni who, from somewhere near the penalty spot, with a brilliant shot after a headed back pass, beats the helpless Petrović with a shot into the far corner.
Three minutes later, the hosts hit the post. Fernandez shot and Serbia was very lucky.
Then, in the midst of the hosts’ initiative, who were chasing a convincing victory, Serbia equalized in the 86th minute.
A great counter-attack by the Eagles, Vlahović played in Terzić who, in the manner of a true striker, beat Kobel.
There were no goals until the end of the match and Serbia earned a great point.
