While the shaman Marijana M., better known as Amelia, of Serbian origin, is still on the run, two members of her notorious clan have been released.
According to information from Heute, her son (30) has already been released, while her ex-husband (47) will be released on Wednesday, February 18. Only one member of the cult, “Ana” (30), remains in custody.
Last December, the two of them were sentenced to three years of partially suspended imprisonment each for aiding and abetting criminal offenses – of which they were supposed to serve one year. The year they already spent in custody since February 2025 was credited toward their sentences. Therefore, both were able to return to their elegant family villa in the suburbs of Vienna. There, valuable classic cars await the Austrian citizens of Serbian origin in the garage, and their watch collection in the closet.
The clients of prominent lawyers Philipp Wolm, Nikolaus Rast and his colleague from the law firm Michael Babic, as well as the “superbrain” of criminal law Alexander Prener, can without any remorse look forward to the money from their overflowing accounts, as well as all their real estate at home and abroad, which will be returned to them.
As a reminder, numerous pieces of jewelry and loot worth about 10 million euros, found during two raids, could not be attributed to individual victims at the trial last December. Fifteen identified victims or their surviving relatives received approximately 1.8 million euros, while the judicial system confiscated 4 million euros as a precaution, representing the probable loot from other victims.
Nevertheless, several million euros remained for the shamanic clan. But that is apparently not enough for the two men: the top lawyers they hired are now appealing to the Constitutional Court for a so-called judicial review – this concerns the restitution of the remaining property and jewelry.
