SHOOTING NEAR A HIGH SCHOOL IN CHICAGO: Attacker opened fire from a car, killed two, then committed suicide!

Lincoln High School in Berwyn was closed on Wednesday after a deadly shooting that took place in the immediate vicinity of the building.

It was just after 4 p.m. when the Berwyn police announced they had responded to a call about a shooting.

When officers arrived, the suspect, who was in a vehicle, was still shooting.

Police said that after reinforcements were called, officers approached the vehicle and found a dead man, who had allegedly taken his own life.

Officers also found two more dead people in the vehicle that the suspect had shot at. Investigators characterized this as a domestic violence-related incident.

“You don’t expect that from a small town like Berwyn, and it’s kind of scary just to think about it, because it happened right in front of a school,” said Abraham Pulido, who lives nearby and added: “There were just cops everywhere and the noise of helicopters and sirens.”

So far, the identities of the suspect or the other two killed people have not been released.

Counselors will be available to students at the school on Wednesday who need support.

Berwyn is a suburban town that administratively belongs to the city of Chicago.
