Legendary Shaquille O’Neal and Nikola Jokic had an interesting conversation after the Denver and Philadelphia game.
O’Neal praised Jokic’s performance in Serbian, who recorded a triple-double in the Nuggets’ 144-109 victory.
“Great job,” said Shaq.

He then asked Jokic about his partnership with Russell Westbrook.
“I love that connection. He knows exactly what I’m thinking. He always passes the ball at the right time. He’s a great player. I think people and the teams he’s been on before didn’t understand him and didn’t give him a chance to be who he is,” Jokic said, among other things.

Shaq then showed the gift he had prepared for the Serbian center, whom he considers the best in the NBA.
“As president of the ‘Big Man’ alliance, I made a belt for you, I’ll send it to you. This is for you, brother, because you’re a champion. You’re the best center in the league by far, and I love that, and I appreciate you. Tell your brothers I say hello. This belt is for you, brother,” said O’Neal.

Jokic, incidentally, had a good time during the game, and he even performed an out-of-bounds play with his head, which didn’t go unnoticed by the NBA.
