After a delegation of American businessmen of Serbian descent was among the first to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory in his election headquarters on election night, another group of our businesspeople had the honor of attending an exclusive gala reception at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s stronghold, last night.
They received special invitations for the event organized by the non-governmental organization Turning Point USA, one of the main pillars of Trump’s campaign in recent years, led by the well-known political activist and public figure, Charlie Kirk.
Serbs also had the opportunity to meet Donald Trump Jr., who spoke at the event and conveyed his father’s immense gratitude for everything the Serbian community did to help him become President of the United States again and return to the White House.

“Trump is very aware of the support he received from Serbs, both those who voted and those who sponsored his campaign, and he is very grateful for that. He is also aware of the support from Serbs living in Serbia, as he saw public opinion research in Europe that shows that Serbia is the country where he would receive the most votes as a candidate,” says Antonije Keljević, one of our businessmen who attended the reception at Mar-a-Lago.
Our delegation also had the chance to meet with the event’s host, Charlie Kirk, and converse with him, and they had a particularly pleasant encounter with Kash Patel, whom Trump nominated to be the future director of the FBI.

“Mr. Patel surprised us because he knows a great deal about Serbia, and it is immediately clear that he is a man of broad education. After all, President Trump would not have nominated him for such an important position if that were not the case. He was very kind and also thanked us for the tremendous support Trump received from the Serbian community in America during the campaign,” says our source Antonije Keljević, who was accompanied by Miloš Dimitrijević, Vladimir Vasiljević, Aleksandar Keljević, and Nikola Vasiljević in the Serbian delegation.

It is interesting to note that the complex where the event was held at Mar-a-Lago is designated as a “restricted area” and is under special control of the U.S. Secret Service.

All those invited to the complex must undergo special security checks and procedures upon entry, and only essential personal items are allowed inside.
