A touching video of the retirement farewell for the Professor of General and Vascular Surgery and former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, Lazar Davidović, has flooded social networks.
Namely, his colleagues from the Clinic for Vascular Surgery of the Clinical Centre of Serbia filled the corridors of this institution and greeted Dr. Davidović with applause that lasted for a long time…
The video published on social networks shows the moment when Professor Davidović arrives among his colleagues. He could not control his emotions. At one point, he can be seen wiping away tears, while walking through the corridors filled with his colleagues.

According to social media users, Dr. Davidović signed a letter of support for Tatjana Simić, the dismissed Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and after that received a termination notice.
