Belgrade, Serbia – Milan Čanak, the son of Citizens’ Movement activist Marija Vasić, has confirmed to FoNet that he has received permission to visit his mother at the Special Prison Hospital in Belgrade.
He stated that he will most likely go for the visit tomorrow.
Čanak added that they are awaiting a response from the prison hospital regarding the exact time of the visit.
Previously, Marija Vasić’s lawyer, Aleksandar S. Petrović, also received permission to visit her.

“As a defense lawyer, I am obliged to inform the public accurately, which I am doing. Given that I have obtained a new permit to visit the Special Prison Hospital, I hope to realize it today and, after more than six days, get official information about Marija Vasić’s health status and establish personal contact with her,” he stated.
