Brutal and cruel police officers in Valjevo, whose brutality last night was unprecedented, kicked one of the arrested demonstrators. One officer, while the man was tied and lying on the ground, kicked him between the legs! This is just one of the cases where police officers beat already-tied citizens who were lying on the ground and offering no resistance.

A group of police officers detained one of the protest participants, laid him down next to a car, and tied his hands behind his back. At one point, a man approaches, uses his foot to spread the legs of the person lying down, and then kicks him between the legs! A resident of a nearby building recorded this moment, and the video circulated on social media, causing an avalanche of negative comments.

Unprecedented Brutality in Valjevo

Although scenes of police brutality could be seen across Serbia last night, it seems that the police in Valjevo stood out as the most brutal. Citizens recorded them beating people who were already lying on the street, some of them tied up. One of the devastating videos from that city shows a demonstrator stumbling and falling, after which police officers line up to kick him and hit him with batons.

In one of the videos, a police officer can be heard asking a young man who is also lying down, “Are you an opposition member, huh?” and then kicks him.

Additionally, Valjevo students in the “blockade” movement published a photo of the horrific injuries a young man sustained.
