The best Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic, won his third-round match at the Australian Open against Czech tennis player Tomáš Macháč with a score of 3:0 (6-1, 6-4, 6-4).

Everything we saw in the duel against Macháč makes us happy. Novak endured long rallies on his feet, controlled the game from the start, was focused, determined to get revenge on Macháč for the loss in Zurich last year.

The only concern is the fact that Novak at one point asked for medical assistance and had to use an inhaler. Health problems started in the second part of the first set.

At the beginning of the second, he asked for medical help, but despite everything, he managed to maintain a high level of play from the first to the last point. Novak was fantastic in the first set.

Djokovic showed a top level of tennis and took advantage of perhaps the only thing that didn’t work as his opponent had hoped, and that was his serve. Djokovic was excellent in his opponent’s service games, easily reached break points and managed to convert two, which was more than enough to win the first set.

The second set was significantly different compared to the first. Novak had an obvious problem, but he managed to play in such a way that it wasn’t noticeable.

The Serbian tennis player won long points, was very good on his opponent’s serve, and the problem was caused by double faults.

After seeking medical help at the beginning of the set, he managed to make up for the break and take the lead himself.

And then, as if in the end of the second and during the third set, everything was as it should be.

Djokovic was able to make a difference with his serve, which of course made things easier. He served aces, had an exceptionally high percentage of points won on the first serve, and Macháč had no answer.

In the next round, he will play against another Czech, this time Jiří Lehečka, who defeated Frenchman Bonzi 3:0 in sets.
