“Do not doubt for a second the determination of a mother who loses a child, Dijana Hrka has my full support,” Ninela Radičević, the mother of Ana Božović, a girl killed in the “Vladislav Ribnikar” Elementary School, told FoNet today.

“I am currently not in Serbia and cannot be in front of the Parliament, but I am with Dijana and I understand her pain,” Ninela Radičević said.

She emphasized that there is “a lot of unmet justice in Serbia” and that “the fight to change that must not stop.”

Dijana Hrka began a hunger strike today in front of the National Assembly building in Belgrade, demanding truth and accountability for the collapse of the canopy under which her son and 15 other people, mostly young people, died, the release of all students arrested during the protests, and the calling of snap elections.

The strike, which she started not far from the Parliament, is accompanied by tensions in the city center tonight as more and more people began gathering in the tent settlement of the supporters of the President of Serbia. They are separated from the citizens supporting Dijana Hrka by a police cordon equipped for riot control.
