MORE THAN 250,000 EUROS COLLECTED FOR THE LITTLE ONES: The tragic death of a priest and his wife in Brod set the entire region on its feet!

For the three young children of priest Nenad and his wife Nedeljka Mitric, who perished in a traffic accident near Brod, more than 250,000 euros has been collected via the “Gofundme” platform.

As stated on the aforementioned page, by the time of writing this text, 303,000 dollars has been collected, which is about 260,000 euros.

So far, nearly 4,000 people have shown humanity by donating money.

Basketball player Jusuf Nurkic also showed great humanity by paying 5,000 dollars.

In the description of this humanitarian appeal, it was noted that the Mitric children were also in the car at the moment of the accident, after which they were transferred to the hospital.

All collected funds will be directed specifically to help their children with treatment, recovery, daily needs, education, and their future. This is an opportunity for all of us to come together and help them, just as their parents helped others, states the post, according to Nezavisne.

Many parishioners and citizens in BiH, as well as in the region, have also shown a readiness to help, assisting the Mitric children in various ways.

Apartments for the little ones

In previous days, the media also published news that each of the three children will be gifted an apartment.

Thus, apartments were promised to the children by Milanko Balesevic Bix from Derventa, Drasko Stanivukovic, the mayor of Banja Luka, Milorad Dodik, the president of the SNSD, and Nedeljko Elek, the president of the Supervisory Board of the “Jahorina” Olympic Center.

Tragedy hit the region

As a reminder, Nenad and Nedeljka died on April 2 in a serious traffic accident that occurred on the Derventa-Brod main road in the village of Novo Selo.

Numerous colleagues said their goodbyes to them, and in Derventa and Brod on Sunday, when the spouses were buried, it was a Day of Mourning.
