The entire incident unfolded when an unknown young man knocked on his vehicle window and urgently requested help, reports the BAP Vesti portal.
According to BAP Vesti, on Wednesday, March 12, while Tasić was in his patrol vehicle amid heavy traffic on Partizanska Street in Novi Sad, a young man knocked on his window asking for urgent assistance.
Inside the young man’s car was a pregnant woman who had gone into labor and was experiencing strong contractions, but due to the traffic congestion, they were unable to reach the hospital!

Without hesitation, Tasić instructed the young man to follow the patrol vehicle.
He activated his lights and sirens, swiftly maneuvering through the dense traffic, ensuring the pregnant woman arrived at the “Betanija” hospital on time.
Thanks to the quick reaction and determination of this brave police officer, the woman safely reached the maternity ward, where she immediately received the necessary medical care.
