The Serbian music scene boasts many talented families, but the combination presented by the Božić family—mother and sons—is truly unique. Musician Katarina Božić composed the music for the song “Sveti Sava”, with her son Dimitrije as the lead vocalist and her other son, David, providing backup vocals.
What makes this collaboration even more remarkable is the young age of the performers—Dimitrije is only 8, and David is 11 years old. Both boys also appear in the music video, which was recently published on the YouTube channel “AS TON MUSIC” by Aleksandar Sofronijević.
The song dedicated to the Serbian saint radiates the joy of Saint Sava’s tradition. Inspired by the pure hearts of children, its message promotes peace, love, and unity, and it is primarily aimed at young audiences.
The music video, filmed with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije, was shot in the Saint Sava Temple. It features top-notch production by Aleksandar Sofronijević and his team from “AS STUDIOTON.” Katarina Božić shared insights into how the music came to life.

It’s a tune that resonates with children’s pure hearts and can be sung at Saint Sava celebrations.
“Saint Sava has been calling us to peace, love, and unity for centuries. He left us the legacy of valuing education that is deeply rooted in Orthodox values and community spirit,” Katarina said, adding:
