Carrier Milomir Jaćimović stated that he will organize transport for students from Novi Sad who plan to go to the protest on Sunday, December 21, in Novi Pazar.
In a statement for FoNet, Jaćimović said that the departure is scheduled for Sunday at seven o’clock from the University campus, and the return is planned for 11 p.m.
According to Jaćimović, there is a large response for going to the protest in Novi Pazar.
Five out of a total of seven buses seized by the police in Novi Sad and Belgrade have been returned to him.
“Two buses in Novi Sad are still left to be returned to me. I am not giving up on supporting the students and driving them to all protests across the country, even if they seize my buses again,” Jaćimović said.
The protest in Novi Pazar is organized as a sign of support for the State University there, after numerous students lost that status, and university departments were left without a large number of teaching staff.
The arrival of students from all universities in the country has been announced, and some of them have already started their journey to Novi Pazar by bicycle.
