Bus driver Milomir Jaćimović from Đurđevo was detained today.

The reasons for his detention are still unknown, but Jaćimović had previously announced he would drive residents of Novi Sad to a protest in Valjevo on Saturday, August 16.

Milomir Jaćimović is known for driving students and citizens to protests for free. After his actions gained public attention, he claims he faced pressure from supporters of the Serbian Progressive Party.

His buses were vandalized multiple times, their tires slashed, and he received threatening anonymous phone calls. He was then detained.

After his release, Milomir Jaćimović continued his efforts, but his license plates were confiscated after June 28.
