Just a day after the blockbuster trade between Los Angeles and Dallas shook the basketball world, Luka Dončić landed in LA, where he was greeted by team representatives.

Shortly before that, Luka took to social media to send a message to Lakers fans.

“I am grateful for this incredible opportunity. Basketball means everything to me, and no matter where I play this game, I will do it with the same joy, passion, and goal – to win a title,” Dončić’s message read, directed at everyone, but especially at Lakers fans.

Luka Dončić, Maxi Kleber, and Markieff Morris have joined the Lakers, while Dallas received Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a 2029 first-round draft pick.

This major three-team deal also included Utah.
