Juventus footballers did not win at the start of the Champions League, but they reached an incredible draw (4:4) against Borussia in Dortmund.
Dušan Vlahović only got a chance in the last little more than half an hour of the game, and at that point the result was just 1:0 for Borussia (all goals were scored in the second half).
The Serbian forward first scored a goal in the 67th minute, when he shot with his right foot on a counterattack, and then he thrilled again in added time. In the 92nd minute, he rushed in on a cross at the right time and shook the net for 3:4.
Vlahović crowned a brilliant performance with an assist for Lloyd Kelly in the 96th minute and a final score of 4:4.
All of this led the Italians to write odes about the Serbian international, who has truly been in excellent form since the start of the season. He has also scored goals in Serie A, and he was a scorer for Serbia against Latvia as well.

And we really have to point out that Vlahović, judging by his performances, deserves a place in the starting 11 – ahead of Jonathan David and Lois Openda.
“David is neither convincing nor brilliant, Openda needs time. Dušan, on the other hand, has been guaranteed since the start of the season, and with these performances, he can regain a place in the starting lineup,” the text continues.
Since the official start of the season, Vlahović has been a starter only once, and that was against Inter in the last round of Serie A, but he did not score a goal in his team’s victory (4:3) then.
“So far this season, there is no more decisive player than Vlahović at Juventus, nor a player with a better goal average. And that is a fact. The question is creeping into the world of Juventus: could a Vlahović in such good form, now that the schedule is becoming more tense, be even more useful as a starter at a time when the chosen player (David or Openda) is not shining as a number 9?
