Last night around 9 PM in the Čačak settlement of Ljubić Kej in Danica Marković Street, a double murder occurred, and a man M. B. (41) is suspected of stabbing his parents to death in the family apartment.
The Police Department in Čačak confirmed that M. B. was arrested on suspicion of killing his seventy-one-year-old father and seventy-two-year-old mother with a sharp object.
According to currently unofficial information, he was arrested in the Gornji Milanovac village of Svračkovci.

On the order of the prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Čačak, the suspect was detained for 48 hours and will be brought before the competent prosecutor’s office with a criminal complaint.
“I am shocked. I saw two police cars and an ambulance around one in the morning, but I never thought that something so terrible had happened. There are still bloody traces in front of the entrance,” one of the residents of the neighboring building told Tanjug.
As Tanjug learns from neighbors, it is a respected Čačak doctor in retirement.
