American billionaire Elon Musk reacted to Novak Đoković’s social media post after his victory over Miomir Kecmanović in the third round of Wimbledon.
Đoković had shared a photo of his recognizable “pumping” fist gesture towards his box, with the message: “Round 4, pump it!”
Musk responded with a gold medal emoji, which, according to many, not only congratulated Đoković on his win but also symbolically supported his “pumping” gesture.

The Meaning Behind the “Pumping”
As a reminder, after each triumph, Đoković performs the “pumping” gesture while looking at his box, where his son, daughter, and wife reciprocate in a similar way. When asked by journalists about its meaning, Đoković diplomatically replies that it’s connected to the song “Pump it up,” which translates to “pump it” in Serbian, often followed by shouts of “Pump it, Nole” from the crowd.
