Dragan Čeliković from Kragujevac, a member of PSK “Mosor” from Niš, has successfully climbed to the summit of Dhaulagiri (8167 m), becoming the first mountaineer from Serbia to conquer the seventh highest peak in the world. This is his eighth conquered peak higher than 8000 meters, confirming his status as one of the most successful high-altitude climbers in the region.
Dragan Čeliković from Kragujevac, a member of PSK “Mosor” from Niš, climbed to the summit of Dhaulagiri, 8167 meters high, on May 10, 2025.
This is a historic moment as Čeliković is the first mountaineer from Serbia to climb this peak, the seventh highest in the world.
For Dragan Čeliković, this is the eighth peak above 8000 meters above sea level, and the previous ones are:
Mount Everest 8848 m (2010), Kangchenjunga 8586 m (2011), Lhotse 8516 m (2017), Makalu 8463 m (2014), Cho Oyu 8201 m (2006), Manaslu 8163 m (2008), and Annapurna 8091 m (2023).
