Novak Djokovic has decided to play one match before Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the season, which begins on June 30. The greatest player of all time will be seen on the court on Friday, June 27, at the “Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic” exhibition. His rival will be Russia’s Karen Khachanov.

Novak Djokovic arrived in London over the weekend from Montenegro and immediately got to work.

He has been training for two days at the complex where Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the season, is played. Its start is scheduled for Monday, June 30, and this Tuesday we learned that he has, after all, decided to have a dress rehearsal on Friday, June 27, at the “Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic” exhibition. His rival will be Russia’s Karen Khachanov.

In addition to him, Lorenzo Musetti, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Frances Tiafoe, Matteo Berrettini, Jack Draper, Holger Rune, Marin Cilic, and Christopher Eubanks will also play in this exhibition.

“With the tournament just around the corner, we are delighted to welcome top players. Djokovic’s return is particularly significant, and we look forward to another successful edition of the tournament,” said tournament director Nikhil Voh.

This will be the 31st edition of the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic, and Novak has played in this exhibition tournament before.

As a reminder, Djokovic played his last match in early June, when he lost in the semifinals to Jannik Sinner.
