Dijana Hrka, the mother of Stefan Hrka who died in the collapse of the canopy, told N1 that she is not afraid, that she is continuing her hunger strike, and that she knows why she is where she is.
“The support is the most important thing to me, it means that we are united and that we stick together, and I think we will bring down this government – in the sense of calling elections and fulfilling the students’ demands,” Hrka said.
Hrka points out that the worst thing for her is that the police allowed people from “Ćaciland” to attack the people.

“The worst thing for me is that next to so many police officers, five Ćacii attacked the people, and a police officer was also injured in the process. For them to turn on our people, to say you are guilty and to attack the people – that is the worst. I then addressed them with a megaphone and said that the police will be held accountable. Come on, let them do their job honestly. Who are they protecting? Ćaciland. Vučić and Dačić and the entire management staff should be ashamed,” she added.
She emphasized that she is not afraid and will not give up the hunger strike “because she knows why she is where she is and will not give up her goal.”
