American television network CNN, traditionally aligned with the Democratic Party, has released “exclusive” archival video footage and photographs it claims reveal new details about the connection between Republican President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted pedophile and multimillionaire who died in a prison cell six years ago.
New Details Emerge on Trump-Epstein Connection
Photographs from 1993 for the first time confirm that Epstein attended Trump’s 1993 wedding to Marla Maples, the second of the current White House chief’s three wives. Epstein’s presence at the ceremony at the Plaza Hotel was reportedly not widely known to the public until now.
Additionally, footage from a 1999 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York shows Trump and Epstein laughing and chatting before models walked the runway. CNN discovered the raw footage while reviewing archival video materials depicting Trump at events held during the 1990s and the first decade of the 21st century. Trump and Epstein reportedly appeared together in at least one video.
The new clips and photographs, which were not widely known and predate Epstein’s legal troubles, have been released amid renewed scrutiny of Trump’s relationship with Epstein. It’s noted that the recent decision by the U.S. Department of Justice not to release long-promised Epstein-related files caused outrage among some in Trump’s MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement, who had expected sensational revelations about alleged Epstein accomplices.
Trump’s Reaction and White House Defense
In a brief statement to CNN yesterday, Trump responded to a question about the wedding photos with, “You must be kidding,” before repeatedly calling the American television network “fake news” and hanging up.
“This is nothing more than cherry-picked frames from innocuous video and pictures from widely attended events to imply something nefarious in a disgusting way. The fact is, the president threw him out of his club because he was a creep. This is nothing more than a continuation of the fake news concocted by Democrats and liberal media,” Steven Cheung, White House Communications Director, told CNN.
Allegations that Epstein sexually abused underage girls first surfaced in 2005, leading to his arrest a year later. He was re-arrested in 2019 on federal charges of s**ex trafficking, and later died in prison, sparking numerous conspiracy theories. A medical examiner ruled his death a suicide by hanging.
