Biljana Stojković, a professor at the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade, emerged from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) premises around 10:15 AM and explained that the proceedings against her stem from a tweet about the blockades in Zemun.

The tweet in question is this:

She stated that she would see what happens next and vowed to “continue pumping.”

“They are accusing me of inciting violence and fighting. The whole thing originated from the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office and Nenad Stefanović. I think this is intimidation and punishment for what happened in front of the Faculty of Law, so they started with intimidation,” she told N1.

Students, citizens, and colleagues gathered earlier today in Kneza Miloša in front of the MUP building to show support for Professor Biljana Stojković.

As a reminder, Professor Biljana Stojković of the Faculty of Biology had previously stated that she received a summons to appear for questioning on Monday, in the capacity of a citizen, at the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding high-tech crime.
