Damir I. (23) is suspected of beating his girlfriend Dragana M. (23) to death, who died at the scene as a result of severe bodily injuries. The horrific crime took place in the vicinity of Aleksandrovac. According to unofficial information, he was arrested a few years ago for attempted murder.
It is suspected that the beating was preceded by an argument, and as we find out, there were previous reports of domestic violence in this family. According to unofficial information, he is already known to the police for attempted murder. Damir lived in very poor conditions, which is why the Social Work Center provided him with a house where his partner, whom he beat to death, moved in with him.

Called an ambulance
As confirmed for “Blic”, the man, after beating the girl, called an ambulance and said that she felt unwell. However, as we unofficially found out, the paramedics found the girl with horrific injuries.
Police announced
“The police in Aleksandrovac arrested D. I. (23) from the vicinity of this place, on suspicion of beating a girl who died in the hospital,” the police announced.
He is suspected of inflicting multiple blows to the head and body of his 23-year-old emotional partner, from which she died. The suspect was detained for 48 hours by order of the higher public prosecutor in Kruševac, after which he will be brought before the prosecutor with criminal charges.
