The Budva police have arrested two members of an organized criminal group on suspicion of attempting to kidnap a person in front of a catering facility in that city, while a third person is being sought, the Police Directorate announced today.
The Budva police received a report yesterday afternoon that three people tried to forcibly push a person into a vehicle and that the person sustained bodily injuries on that occasion.
Based on information received from the injured party, D.D. (31) and Lj.K. (33) from Kotor were located and arrested, who the police state are members of an organized criminal group.

They were arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of attempted kidnapping as co-perpetrators.
It is stated that another person, whose identity is unknown, and who was driving the vehicle used during the attempted kidnapping, is being sought.
“Police officers carried out searches at several locations in Kotor last night, while intensive police-prosecutorial activities continue to fully clarify the criminal offense, locate and prosecute the perpetrators,” the police statement said.
