Former Minister of Defense and one-time official of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Predrag Bošković, was arrested this morning by order of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, as part of an investigation against a criminal group that, according to the prosecution, was organized by businessman Aleksandar Mijajlović.
Following the arrest, Bošković was brought to the Special Police Department.
In this investigation, the investigating judge of the High Court in Podgorica, Goran Šćepanović, yesterday evening ordered the detention of businessman Aleksandar Mijajlović and former head of the counterintelligence service Drago Spičanović, Vijesti reports.
The accused police officers Milovan Pavićević and Vladan Lazović were placed under house arrest, while senior state prosecutor Andrijana Nastić had her passport confiscated and is obligated to report to the police.
