According to his family’s statement, issued through the Israeli group “Forum for Hostages and Missing Families”, Alon Ohel was held in tunnels in Gaza alongside recently released Israeli hostages.
His family stated that freed hostages informed them that Alon is alive but injured and has not received medical treatment.
“We are happy and relieved to know that he is alive, but we are devastated and shocked by his severe physical and psychological condition, as well as the abuse that hostages continue to endure,” the family emphasized.
