Swedish police have decided to deport seven members of the Delije supporters’ group following a street fight in the city center, multiple security sources from Sweden have confirmed.

According to local media reports, the incident occurred during the night before the match, when a group of Red Star supporters was passing through the city center and the conflict soon escalated into a physical confrontation with another group. It has still not been officially confirmed whether they were Malmö supporters or other visiting groups present in the city.

Malmö police chief Tomas Rozenberg confirmed that seven Red Star supporters were arrested during the intervention and that, after being taken into custody, they were issued deportation orders to Serbia.

In addition, three more Serbian citizens were denied entry into Sweden after items associated with disguises and potential disturbances were found in their possession at the border.
