A 30-year-old Austrian woman was arrested in Innsbruck on suspicion of stabbing her 34-year-old Serbian partner with a kitchen knife after an argument, police said.
Media reports that an argument broke out between the couple, who lived in a common-law partnership, after which the woman took a kitchen knife and stabbed the Serbian man in the back.
Police say the Serbian man was fortunate that the injuries were not life-threatening and he is not in danger. He was transferred to a local clinic and treated on an outpatient basis.

The Austrian woman was immediately arrested and, by order of the public prosecutor’s office, taken to a prison in Innsbruck.
According to media reports, she will be charged with continuous violence against her partner.
