“HE WAS DRIVING DRUNK”: Grandmother of the young man who drove into the Danube at Ada Huja revealed the background of the accident!

A traffic accident occurred today near a restaurant at Ada Huja, when a young man drove into the Danube with a car, and he jumped out of the automobile himself. As the grandmother of the young man who was driving the car told “Blic” at the scene, he is fine now, and he was allegedly drunk while driving.

“I am shaken. He is fine now, he was drunk when he was driving. Yesterday he was at the Emergency Center because he cut his finger at work, he was there for a dressing,” the grandmother of the young man who drove into the Danube told “Blic”.

Gendarmerie divers are at the scene and have located the car in the icy Danube, after which the vehicle was soon extracted.

As a reminder, the traffic accident occurred near a restaurant at Ada Huja, at the same spot where three young people died 10 years ago when they drove into the Danube in a vehicle.

As we unofficially learn, there were no injuries in the incident.

Twelve firefighters-rescuers intervened at the scene.

According to the driver’s statement, only he was in the vehicle at the moment of the traffic accident and he left the vehicle himself. The intervention is ongoing.
