Bivši predsednik SAD Donald Tramp potvrdio je da je glasao za guvernera Floride Rona DeSantisa, predviđajući „sjajnu noć“ za republikance, izvestio je večeras CNN.

„Mislim da ćemo imati sjajnu noć i da je uzbudljivo“, dodao je Tramp u obraćanju novinarima.

Bivši američki predsednik glasao je u Palm Biču, nedaleko od njegovog imanja Mar-a-Lago, gde namerava da u toku noći prati izbore sa desetinama pomoćnika, saveznika i lokalnih republikanaca.

Na biračko mesto došao je sa suprugom Melanijom Tramp.

Politička budućnost bivšeg predsednika mogla bi u velikoj meri da zavisi od ishoda ovog glasanja. Veliki gubici za kandidate koje podržava Tramp mogli bi da stvore prepreke za njegovu predsedničku kampanju 2024. godine, koju Tramp namerava da objavi za nedelju dana, navodi CNN.
