Famous singer Zdravko Čolić was questioned this morning at the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade as part of the investigation against suspects in the bombing attack on his house in Senjak. Čolić spent about an hour at the Palace of Justice, where he gave a statement in the capacity of an injured party.

As Kurir learns, the popular Čola stated before the prosecutor that he does not know who could be behind the attack, as he is not in conflict with anyone.

“I am not the type of person who enters into conflicts, especially not those that would lead to such an attack. I owe nothing to anyone,” the singer said during questioning.

Although he confirmed that at the time of the explosion, on February 3, he was in Zagreb, he emphasized that the most important thing for him was learning that his wife and daughters were safe and that no one was injured. Čolić added that the house did not suffer major damage and decided not to join the criminal prosecution of those arrested, explaining that he believes they are only executors of someone else’s order.

Let us recall, shortly after the attack, police arrested three suspects: Senad M., Perica S. and Marko A. It is suspected that they drove to the singer’s house by taxi, and then approached the fence by scooter, from where a hand grenade was thrown. According to the prosecution, one of the suspects threw the bomb, while another kept watch for passersby and recorded everything on a mobile phone.
