LaMelo Ball, Charlotte Hornets guard, was fined for inappropriate language.
Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball has received bad news from the NBA league, as he has been fined $100,000 for inappropriate language.
“No homo” was part of a statement that the NBA league was unwilling to “overlook” and punished him severely, as Shams Charania reports.

As a reminder, Nikola Jokic did the same thing in 2018, and the NBA league fined him four times less, or $25,000.
“No homo, but he’s longer than you expect,” Jokic commented on the wingspan of Wendell Carter Jr., former Chicago Bulls player and now Orlando Magic.
“We loaded up, no homo.”
