Testimony by an unnamed member of the Venezuelan security forces about the details of the American operation to arrest Nicolás Maduro, the president of Venezuela, and about how Maduro’s bodyguards were swiftly overpowered and were vomiting blood, has gone viral in recent days, and there is increasing discussion about the weapon allegedly used on that occasion.
Allegedly, it was a sonic weapon with which American special forces disabled the opposing forces, Fox News reported.
White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt shared the interview with the alleged eyewitness on the X network, calling on her followers to read his testimony. In the interview, the witness claims that he was a guard serving at a military base in Caracas, where the United States captured Maduro.
“We were on guard duty, but suddenly all of our radar systems stopped working without any explanation,” the witness said, and continued:

“The next thing we saw were drones, many drones, flying over our positions. We didn’t know how to react.”
The witness then described watching about 20 American soldiers disembarking from approximately eight helicopters above the base.
“They were technologically very advanced. They didn’t resemble anything we had fought against before. There were hundreds of us, but we didn’t stand a chance. They fired with such precision and speed; it seemed as if each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute.”
The witness then describes how the United States used some kind of sonic weapon against the Venezuelan forces.
“At one point they launched something, I don’t know how to describe it. It was like an extremely powerful sound wave. Suddenly I felt as if my head was exploding from the inside. We all started bleeding from our noses. Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move. We couldn’t even stand up after that sonic weapon or whatever it was.”
“Those 20 men, without a single casualty, killed hundreds of us,” the witness claimed. “We had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons. I swear, I have never seen anything like it.”
The White House did not immediately respond to questions about whether sharing this post on social media constitutes confirmation of its truthfulness. The Pentagon also did not respond to questions about whether the United States deployed sonic or energy weapons in Venezuela.
We remind that earlier a former U.S. intelligence source told the New York Post that the U.S. military has for years possessed directed-energy weapons, such as microwave or laser systems, which can cause symptoms such as bleeding, disorientation, severe pain, and temporary incapacitation. He added that it is possible that some of the described symptoms are connected to this technology, but that for now there is no independent confirmation of the use of such weapons in this case.
