Ukrainian drones attacked a police regiment barracks in Grozny, Chechnya, confirmed Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.
According to him, the attack damaged the roof of the building, shattered windows, and four men on guard were lightly injured.
Kiev Independent reports that this is the third drone attack on Chechnya during the Russia-Ukraine war.
The previous attack occurred a few days ago, and the first was reported at the end of October this year.
According to Kadyrov, the drone (UAV) was shot down above the police barracks around one hour past midnight on December 12.
“No one was seriously injured. Four guards sustained minor injuries,” he said.
Additionally, as the Kiev portal further reports, the targeted police regiment building is named after Akhmad Kadyrov, the first Chechen leader who supported Russia.
The same building was reportedly hit a week earlier during a drone attack on December 4.

After initially reporting no casualties, Kadyrov later claimed that Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) were killed, boasting that they had been used as human shields.
Kadyrov blamed Ukraine for the drone attack, though Kiev has not claimed responsibility for the strike.
A Ukrainian intelligence source told Kiev Independent that the strike on October 29 likely came from neighboring republics of Dagestan or Ingushetia.
