TRANSPORTED TO HOSPITAL UNCONSCIOUS: Student Katarina who cycled to Strasbourg injured in police intervention! (VIDEO)

During a police intervention in front of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education (DIF) in Novi Sad, Katarina Milankov, a veterinary student who was part of the team that cycled to Strasbourg, was beaten, Nova.rs reports.

The situation has been very tense in front of the DIF in Novi Sad since this morning. Citizens and students gathered in front of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Novi Sad to prevent the dean from ending the blockade.

At one point, the police used force, beat several demonstrators with batons, and a number of citizens and students were sprayed with pepper spray. Several people were injured.

Among those beaten was veterinary student Katarina who cycled to Strasbourg. She was unconscious and was taken away by ambulance.

Her injury was also confirmed by Dr. Milankov, the father of the injured student, who was himself hit with a baton.
