Novak Djokovic has learned his potential path to winning his 25th Grand Slam title after the Australian Open draw was completed.
The ten-time champion of this tournament and absolute record holder of the Australian Open will start his campaign against Nishaar Basavareddy in the first round.
The American tennis player of Indian origin is almost 18 years younger than Djokovic and they have never met at a tournament before.
Later, the draw determined that he could face Pavel Kotov or a qualifier, Reilly Opelka, whom he lost to at the Brisbane tournament, or Tomas Machac, and even in the round of 16 he faces a tough opponent in the form of Grigor Dimitrov or Jiri Lehecka, who is in good form and started the season with a title.

In the quarterfinals, the biggest potential mine is Carlos Alcaraz, who is now highly motivated to win the title in Melbourne and become the youngest Grand Slam champion.
Jack Draper could potentially reach this stage if he plays according to Great Britain’s expectations.
In the semifinals, Djokovic could play against Alexander Zverev, who is still chasing his first Grand Slam title, or against three-time Grand Slam finalist Casper Ruud.
Only in the final could he meet Jannik Siner, which now sounds like good news considering the other potential rivals. He has avoided both Daniil Medvedev and Taylor Fritz until the final.
The Australian Open is scheduled to start on January 12th, and the grand final is scheduled for January 26th.
