A commemorative service for the murdered Charlie Kirk is being held today, and 100,000 people will attend, as well as Trump and Vance.
American police expect about 100,000 people at the commemorative service for Charlie Kirk on September 21, 2025, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The event will be secured with measures similar to those for the Super Bowl.
Trump: “We’re honoring a great man“
US President Donald Trump spoke about the late Charlie Kirk during a dinner organized by the American Cornerstone Institute on Saturday evening, calling him a “great man” and a central figure of his political movement.
-Tomorrow we’re honoring a great man, Charlie Kirk. He was with us from the very beginning. He had an army and he loved what we do – Trump said.
Trump recalled Kirk’s energy and persistence, stating that the founder of Turning Point USA would often beg him to appear and speak without much notice.
Influence on young conservatives
Trump described Kirk’s influence on young conservatives, as well as the deep loss that is now felt among his supporters.
-He had a real army of young people. They loved him and now they are all crushed. Everyone is completely broken – Trump said.
He confirmed that he will attend the funeral in Arizona, adding that “there are no words to describe what happened. It should never have happened.“
The White House is sending two planes full of staff
White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt confirmed on the Kayleigh McEnany show that “two planes full of White House staff” will fly to the funeral in Arizona.
-The President, the Vice President, the Speaker of the House, as well as cabinet ministers will speak at the funeral. That shows how many people he touched at the highest levels of government – Leavitt said.
She called Kirk an “exceptional man, of deep faith” and added that “his legacy will surely be honored and remembered.“
Gatherings in front of TPUSA headquarters
In front of the Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix, hundreds of people gather daily to pay tribute to the late conservative leader.
The gathering has turned into a large memorial with flowers, candles, flags, handwritten messages, etc…
Visitors were leaving Starbucks cups with his name and his favorite drink – Mint Majesty tea with two honeys – in memory of his voice.
The most notable gift was a package of blueberries, dedicated to his daughter, after his wife Erika said that Kirk was “on a business trip with Jesus” so he could provide her with a budget for blueberries.

Emotional atmosphere and strong messages
Journalist Isabel Brown described the atmosphere as “very emotional,” highlighting how strongly the candles, prayers, and tears of the gathered people affect. Believers gathered in front of the cross last night and quietly sang the song “Lord I Need You“.
–Charlie, you may not have gone to West Point, but you are one of the bravest soldiers. You saved more Americans than you will ever know! God bless you – a man wrote on an American flag.
-The fire has been lit. The lion’s den has been shaken. The sleeping lions have been awakened. Charlie’s voice has not been silenced, it has been amplified. We will never forget him and we will never be silenced – the message reads.

The event begins at 11 a.m. US time, and will be broadcast by television networks FOX and CBS.
