According to satellite imagery analysis and data published by the site Meduza, at least 12 air defense systems, mostly Pantsir‑S1 surface-to-air missile systems, are deployed around Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence in Valdai National Park (Novgorod region).
These systems are positioned around the complex to protect the residence—which is far from the front lines—but, according to foreign analyses, has been further reinforced due to increasingly frequent drone and other aerial threats.

The first air defense station was spotted as early as January 2023, and over time the number of such systems has increased significantly: whereas there were previously only two systems, there are now 12—roughly five times fewer than the number of air defense systems around Moscow and the Moscow region.
The residence is located approximately 550–600 kilometers northwest of Moscow, or about 600 kilometers east of the nearest border with Ukraine. The closest Ukrainian regions are Sumy and Kharkiv.
I have this one on my separate map for Putin's Valdai residence 'Pantsirs', you can find it here: https://t.co/frNlEpp6L2
