US President Donald Trump has reacted after Iran attacked a US military base in Qatar.

However, Trump did not comment on the latest developments and Iranian attacks. Instead, he spoke about “fake news” and criticized American media.

“The sites we hit in Iran were TOTALLY DESTROYED, and everyone knows that. Only Fake News would claim otherwise, trying to downplay our success as much as possible, and even they admit it was ‘almost totally destroyed’,” Trump wrote, adding:

“Especially hard at work on this lie are Allison Cooper of the Fake CNN, Dumb Brian L. Roberts, Chairman of ‘Concasting,’ Jon Karl of Fake ABC, and of course the always present losers at NBC Fake News. It never stops with these Media Crooks and that’s why their ratings and trust are at an all-time low – ZERO VALUE,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

As a reminder, Iran launched an operation against a US base in Qatar, Iranian state television reported.

US officials are preparing for the possibility that Iran may target US facilities after the weekend’s attacks.
